Discipleship @ Bethel
Who should be discipled?
The word disciple at the time of Jesus was a person who was a committed follower and imitator of their trainer. In this case, the Gospels as whole and the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20), teach that every person who is a believer is a committed follower and imitator of Jesus Christ.
What is discipleship?
The church disciples individuals through a variety of ministries including corporate worship, public teaching, small groups, and one-on-one relationships. A person is truly being discipled when they actively engaged in all of these ministries.
Because of our belief that every Christian is a disciple and the church's mission is to make disciples ... At Bethel, we make it our priority to help every person learn about God and develop a personal relationship with Him.
